There’s nothing sweeter than that first cup of morning coffee. Join me for a three hour class where together, we will make your new favourite morning mug.

Skill level: Intermediate, previous experience on the wheel advised

One on one workshop

$500 – 5hrs

After an insight into how your hug mug has come to be? Or want to spend a little more time perfecting pulling handles? I’ll show you the basics and can be led by you and your objectives for the class. In this five hour course we will create multiple pieces of work. .

Skill level: Intermediate, previous experience on the wheel advised

What’s included: Private class, use of equipment, clay, underglazes and tools.

DIY Clay Kit with Guided Online Class
DIY Clay Kit with Guided Online Class

Clay at home with the DIY clay kit. I’ll hold your hands as we build two to three small pieces together. These guided online classes are best suited to groups 3 - 6 participants.

Once you’ve ordered your clay kit, email hello@kjeclay.com.au and we will book in a time and date that suits your group.

Firing

There’s no home kitchen oven hot enough to cook these babies, so please keep your pieces aside rather than popping them into your toasty oven. Once you’ve purchased I can direct you to your nearest studio.

Don’t fret, your masterpieces can be left aside for ages (well beyond our current restrictions) before taking them to be fired.

What will be provided

  • 900g of Buff clay

  • 1.5 hour online class, where we make your own masterpieces together

  • Chamois cloth to smooth out all the lumpy edges

  • Skewer

  • Sheets on newspaper to keep your dining table turned own private studio, clean
